Civitas Sustainability Foundation is a Section 8 company in India that works with governments, businesses, and institutions by developing sustainable business strategies and solutions, holistic Corporate Social Responsibility, and community-based programs through consulting, research, and cross-sector collaboration.

We believe that a sustainable world can be attained when people(Communities and Businesses), Policy (Government and Institutions) and Resources(Natural and Knowledge wealth) from all sectors are aligned towards a common goal.

Water

Through our community water sustainability initiative, we have made significant strides in promoting rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge methods. We are proud to announce that we have successfully conserved a staggering 2.8 million+ litres of water across three regions in Gujarat, benefiting six local communities.

Education

Our environmental education program has reached a significant milestone by engaging with 5000+ students across 50 schools in six districts of Gujarat. Through our curriculum, we emphasize waste management techniques, energy efficiency practices, and the importance of reducing our carbon footprint by educating students all over Gujarat.

Healthcare

Innovation

We are dedicated to supporting social innovations and climate tech startups in their journey towards creating a sustainable future. Our initiatives include organizing bootcamps and accelerator programmes, providing the necessary resources and mentorship. We are proud to announce that we have mentored more than 100 startups, empowering them.

Social Transformation

Our social transformation focuses on empowering rural communities through livelihood , women empowerment, and financial literacy. We have benefitted 250+ women through the establishment of three Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These have provided a platform for women to collaborate, learn skills, and access financial resources for their ventures.

Skill Training

Skill training

We have empowered 500+ artisans, enabling them to enhance their market presence and sustainable livelihoods. We have successfully trained 2000+ individuals, equipping them with the knowledge to assess the social and environmental impact of projects and interventions. We have supported 1500+ youths, by providing with secure sustainable livelihoods.
